Many thanks to artist, Yael Maimon for including my paintings, "Hopeful Expectancy" and “Waiting For You To Look At Me” in Pastels Chicago 2021, Eighth Biennial National Juried Open exhibition, hosted by Chicago Pastel Painters. I am truly delighted “Hopeful Expectancy” has won the Terry Ludwig Pastels/Chartpak Award. Thank you to the Judge of Awards, Colette Odya Smith for this honor.

Maui Pastel Society has notified Seven states + Canada are represented at the Maui Pastel Art Show, which runs
Oct. 1-15 in the Village Gallery on Maui. There are 40 artworks in the show painted by 26 artists. I am proud to announce that Missouri is one of the seven states and four or our own GPA artists were selected:

San Miguel de Allende 2020!
A group of GPA members were so fortunate to travel to
San Miguel de Allende end of January 2020.
Little did we know that in the near future all travel will stop.
Shout out to Vic Mastis and Susan Rogers! Both of them had paintings that were accepted into the
Pastel Journal’s Pastel 100 Competition in 2019!
